Tasked with the challenge of reconstruction the existing villa while minimizing structural changes, the primary objective was to artfully delineate private area from general, a minimum of two master bedrooms and four guest suites to accommodate discerning guests.
The solution unfolded in stages: to partially merge the ground and first floors, transforming them into a luminous, open space.
A solution came in the form of a towering vertical element—comprising strategically positioned windows and a zenith lantern—that diveded the villa into two distinct realms. This feature not only served as a visual anchor but also imbued the space with a sense of scale and proportion.
The dark-hued materials, bronze accents injected a dynamic contrast, effectively delineating volumes and enhancing the villa’s architectural reconstruction.
Of particular note is the deliberate integration of the existing zenith lantern, with its hyperbolized height, seamlessly woven into the narrative of the redesigned space. This was not only commands attention but also serves as a poignant reminder of the villa’s storied past in the new vision.
